Dubbo State Challenge set for Country / Metro teams to go head-to-head

The Dubbo State Challenge will bring NSW’s top junior male and female cricketers to Dubbo for three days of high-quality competitive cricket from January 20-22, with standout players in this seasons carnivals selected for their respective age-group squads.


Across the carnival, teams from Country NSW and Metro NSW will go head-to-head in a high-performance environment designed to provide players with invaluable exposure and development opportunities. The State Challenge acts as a key pathway event for both male and female players, giving them the best opportunity to be identified by elite pathway selectors.


This year, the Dubbo State Challenge format will consist of the following

·       U14 Male Country Challenge

·       U15 Female State Challenge

·       U16 Male Country Challenge


Dubbo Regional Council Mayor Josh Black said he was excited to be hosting the event in the region.
